Portals are opening in your actual living room. Monsters are pouring out. Your bare hands are the only weapon you get - good thing they're magic.

WAVE 0 · THE COVEN

No big studio. Just four hooded wizards.

We're not a company - we're four enthusiasts who started messing about with Vision Pro and never took the hoods off. I'm Wizard is the first thing we've ever shipped.

we tried taking a team photo. it came out as four hoods.

No publisher. No committee. No faces - just everything four people know about play, poured into a single room. We were chasing two things the whole way: making it feel impossibly real, and making you gasp right as something climbs out of your ceiling.

If I'm Wizard got you good, you can keep four wizards in coffee and spell components.

WAVE 01 · THE BREACH

Portals don't knock.

One quiet evening a neon seam tears across your wallpaper. Then another. Then the ceiling. A roguelike wave-survival brawl breaks out between the sofa and the window - and you're the only tower this defense has.

WAVE 02 · THE LOADOUT

Your hands are the controllers.

Vision Pro tracks every finger, so the spells live in your gestures - six of them, learned in seconds, mastered over many ruined evenings. Two put a familiar of your own into the fight.

  • PINCH → FLICK

    Firebolt

Your fastest, cheapest cast. It leaves your hand before most foes can close the gap - lead the wave and keep throwing.

  • PALMS TOGETHER

    Shield

Clap up a honeycomb dome over the whole room. Catch your breath while the next wave forms - then drop it and strike back.

  • HANDS OPEN

    Harvest

Fallen foes burst into mana shards. Open your hands and pull the loot in - the cleaner your kills, the harder you can cast.

  • CUP → POUR

    Wrath

Cup your hands and pour a focused torrent of fury down a lane. Everything caught in it melts. Everything.

  • THUMBS TOGETHER

    Familiar

Touch your thumbs and a familiar claws its way in beside you. It plants itself between you and the swarm and soaks the hits that were meant for you.

  • INDEX FINGERS TOGETHER

    Sic 'Em

Touch your index fingers and point it at the pack. Your familiar stops tanking and starts shredding - you pick the target, it does the messy part.

+ Voice commands

Some magic, you just say out loud.

Your familiar listens. Call it to your side, send it in, pull it back - out loud, in your own voice. Your hands throw the spells; your voice runs the room. For a few minutes it stops feeling like a game at all - you're a wizard giving orders, and something actually obeys.
  • "Familiar - to me!"
  • "Guard the door!"
  • "Sic 'em!"
  • "Heel!"

just examples - the game's real commands are different

it gets everyone.

here's how it tends to go -

  1. Minute 01 Portals split your walls open. Both hands fly up - no controller, nothing - and fire answers. The cat does not come back.
  2. Minute 03 You reach for a controller that was never there. Then it lands: your hands are the wand. You throw up a shield with your palms - and flinch.
  3. Minute 06 Something climbs out of the portal above your couch. You get off a sofa faster than you ever have in your life.
  4. 02:00 AM “One more wave,” you said - at midnight. Your arms ache from casting. You regret nothing.
